A perfect movie about the Disquiet
Have you seen the movie “Click”?

This is the perfect movie about the challenges of what I call Empty Successâ„¢.
This occurs when someone is very successful but can’t connect to that success. In fact they might feel dead inside, or at the very least, unable to enjoy their success. In the movie, Michael Newman (Adam Sandler) is a fast rising architect striving to be made partner. He gets overwhelmed by the steady increase in the demands of his work taking him away from his family. He is on a high speed hamster wheel and can’t get off. He can’t enjoy what he has.
Newman snaps over having too many remote controls so that he can’t operate his TV. He goes shopping for a universal remote and finds the perfect device through Morty (Christopher Walken), who gives him a one-of-a-kind remote with magical powers. With each click, Michael is able to control his career and personal life. But complications arise when the remote starts to overrule his choices.
I don’t want to give away the movie. This is unlike any other Sandler movie. I was pleasantly surprised at the strong message in the film. I recommend it highly. The rest of the family can enjoy the humor while you connect to its important message.

My family and I just watched Click last week. I was pleasantly surprised. It had some of the crude aspects of Adam Sandler’s movies that turn me off, but the benefits of this one far outweighed them. We all cried. I regret not getting it for our theatre, now.

Hi Rick - I was surprised as well. I was expecting GOOFY and kept getting drawn in deeper and deeper into the story.
