The Disquiet in Men

Helping men who feel something missing in their lives

Great Finds for the Week of December 18

I found some excellent resources out there for working with the Disquiet for this week:

“It ain’t what a man don’t know that hurts him
. . . it’s what he knows that just ain’t so.”

“Some people think that they have no chance of ever living the kind of life they want.” A timely article on Changing your Beliefs by Adrian at Lifehack.

As you know from reading my site, there is a particular way mens’ Disquiet often shows up and that is around their relationship to the success in their lives. Sometimes, there is no connection to it. They feel empty or disconnected from it. One of the ways to re-connect with what is important in your life, and to appreciate it, is by giving back. At this time of year, many of us are thinking about how to give money to charity in a way that really works. Here are great tips from Free Money Advice on how to do just that.

Dr Hal on his blog, North Star Fitness, writes about 5 secrets to dealing with emptiness, obviously an important link to the Disquiet. Read more here.

For the important question, “How do you lead a life of fulfillment instead of disappointment? Alvin Soon answers that in Lighting the Fire Within.

And finally, how do you find the motivation to do what you know you have to do, but just don’t feel like it? This is a great article at LifeHack.

So read and enjoy! Have a good Week!
