But I was wondering what happened to the 'Macho, Tough Man' of the mid 80's and 90's? Kurt Russell, Stallone, Arnold, Segal - all the big action heros of that generation. All these guys played multiple roles where there wasn't much emotion - just brute force and action. And I guess they gave way to the quirky action hero like Mel Gibson in the Lethal Weapon movies.
