It seems appropriate at this time of year to follow the State of the Union with a State of theDisquiet.com. This site was launched in October and has been growing in readership at a very steady pace. I have focused my attention on getting established and connecting with people interested in this subject and the services I offer. It has been very exciting to see the traffic explode.

Subscriptions to my newsletter currently go out to people in over 11 countries. I have over 450 links from 33 blogs and I am ranked at 112,400 in Technorati. I average between 200-300 visitors a week. Not a bad start. With each step of the way, I am learning from great people and resources. It is hard to believe 9 months ago I didn’t know what a blog was!

Now that this is a solid platform, I am now working to bringing on line additional features and services over the coming months. Here is a sample of what’s coming:

On the Blog:

Interviews: I will be interviewing key people in the blogosphere and in the offline world who have something relevant to say about the Disquiet. These will be podcasts you can download to listen at your leisure. The Disquiet is now carried at Itunes. Check out the sidebar for instructions how to subscribe.

More of me: I have been doing a lot of reporting out on resources and information that is relevant to the Disquiet. While that is great and I have received lots of positive feedback, I will also be writing more about what I know about the Disquiet. So at least one of the postings per week will have something about my experiences, reflections and learnings. I hope we can engage in actual dialog or you can ask me questions through the “comment” feature at the end of each post. Be sure to check out how to subscribe to the blog posts if you haven’t already, If you have or know about feed readers, check here. And if you want to get an email whenever I post something new, check out the sidebar to the right.

The study: As the interviews continue for the study I have been conducting, there will be more postings about what I am learning from them as well. You can get a free copy of a report on the study so far when you subscribe to the newsletter by signing up here or at any sidebar on the site.

Family Support Program

When you visit my coaching services page, you will see two programs: the Engaging the Disquiet Coaching Program as well as the Empty Success Program. Clients in either program will benefit from additional support for their families. Why have a support program for families? I have watched people who go through significant growth experience stress in their family systems. Even when change is for the better, change is still change. It raises doubts like, “Will he still love me?”, “Will he change so much, I won’t know who he really is?”, or “I don’t even know what to talk about anymore.” This support is included in the programs at no additional cost. Self-Coaching Course

A 30 day work-alone program will be available for sale within a few months. This is an alternative for someone not quite ready for a coaching program.

Teleclass Program

I am in the middle of designing a several week course for men to get help and help each other as they work on their lives, navigate their Disquiet and achieve the life they want. More details to follow.

A Free Teleclass

A monthly fee teleclass where you can call in and learn more about the Disquiet and how to work with it. Check back to see more about this in March.
